     Al-Hokail clarifying Netaqat program at the chamber
     
    "Nitaqat" meeting saw significant attendance of businessmen and women in the region
     
    Al-Hokail: 80.000 facility have been moved from red to yellow zone after adjusting information last week
     

    Asharqia Chamber received on Tuesday morning 28 June the Undersecretary at the Ministry of Labor Mr. Othman bin Saleh Al-Hokail during his meeting with businessmen and women inthe region where Al-Hokail elaborates more on the "Nitaqat" program of securing suitable job opportunities.
     
    Throughout the meeting,Al-Hokailexplained how the ministry has examined the cases of transferring the services of the newcomer (consent transfer) without the consent of the sponsor for those working in companies lying in the  yellow and red zones to the companies lying in the green along with the consequences that could occurred by that.

    Elaborating on the “Nitaqat Program”, Al-Hokail Undersecretary at the Ministry for Labor explained how the program is based on the principle of securing suitable job opportunities for Saudi jobseekers and to absorb citizens into the mega development projects. Giving a clear picture on the  program, and answer for all the questions and inquiries of interest to businessmen in respect to the implementation of the program and its mechanisms..

    Companies in the yellow category that did not fulfill Saudization conditions, should correct their status in order to get the iqamas of their workers renewed.

    However, the spokesman emphasized that iqamas of those foreign workers in red category companies would not be renewed at all, irrespective of the years they have spent in the Kingdom.

    The green companies will be given a number of advantages, including recruitment of manpower from foreign countries and the transferof employees in the yellow and red categories without their companies’ consent.

    Al-Hokail explained that the Ministry is currently creating a database of a number of young Saudi job-seekers for the benefit of the companies operating in the Saudi market, explaining that the (HAFEZ) program will serve many of facilities at its start.

    He spoke on the phases of applying the program will be on four stages as its now moving in the first phase, whichrequires a period of three months.

    Explaining in details all the benefits and incentivesgranted to each zonee and date of applying it program ,saying how the program plays a good role in creating competitiveness among companies..
     
     
    At the end of the meeting, Asharqia Board Member o Mr. Saleh bin Abdullah Al-Sayed Chairmanof the Contracting Committee honored the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labor Othman Bin Saleh Al-Hokail in the presence of the Chamber Secretary General Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Wabel.
